SUMMARY

The Receptionist plays a vital role in providing administrative assistance within the RCAC and CBRF community. This position is tasked with executing clerical functions, facilitating the flow of information, and completing assigned projects. As the primary point of contact for the community, it is essential that all responsibilities are carried out with a focus on resident satisfaction while continuously seeking ways to enhance core processes. The incumbent's schedule will be determined by operational requirements, which may include various shifts, weekends, and on-call duties as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Welcoming and engaging with residents, family members, guests, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls, intercom communications, and paging systems
  • Ensuring building security by monitoring security systems, including emergency call systems, and responding appropriately
  • Overseeing the operation and upkeep of all office equipment and communication tools, including managing inventory of office and community supplies
  • Coordinating mail and newspaper deliveries
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a technical school or an Associate Degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, ideally within property management or real estate
