Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to join our team at Sentinel Safety & Security Group, LLC. As a Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of various benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage enrollments for new hires and during open enrollment periods, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Serve as the primary resource for employee questions related to enrollment, coverage, and claims.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of all benefit plans and program designs, serving as a subject matter expert for related questions.
  • Assist with benefit plan changes, compliance, and audits, implementing any necessary changes and communicating with employees.
  • Process employee benefit calculations and coordinate daily benefit processes, including COBRA enrollments and benefit changes.
  • Assist with all benefit reporting for EEOC, ACA, EEO-1, 5500, and non-discrimination testing for 401(k).
  • Stay current with new laws and regulations surrounding benefits and employee leaves, ensuring compliance and making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Assist with implementing and testing updates in HRIS for various benefit programs, reviewing employee data reports and researching any discrepancies or missing information.
  • Create and update process documents for HR and employees, driving consistency and applying a continuous improvement framework to benefit administration.
  • Maintain relationships with benefit vendors as assigned and lead benefit presentations as required.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of employee benefit administration experience.
  • Prefer a bachelor's or associate degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Ability to respect and maintain confidential information.
  • Possess strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a desire to be customer-facing.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a drive to be a collaborative team member.
  • Must be well-versed in Microsoft Office.
  • Prefer experience in Bamboo and/or ADP HRIS systems.
