Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Cost Manager or Quantity Surveyor to join our Real Estate Cost Management team in Seattle, Washington. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with clients in the development, manufacturing, retail, health, and technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in onsite or in-office work; remote work options may be considered based on performance and client needs.
  • Oversee comprehensive service delivery from start to finish.
  • Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring that objectives are met through a value-driven cost management approach.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of market dynamics, serving as a brand ambassador and fostering new business opportunities.
  • Enhance existing client relationships and lead proposals for new engagements.
  • Manage a cost management team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Handle financial oversight of commissions and set strategic goals for the team.
  • Identify and mentor talent, promoting professional growth and celebrating team achievements.
  • Exemplify leadership and service excellence, fostering a unified culture that balances the needs of our people, clients, stakeholders, and society.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity and prioritize the safety and well-being of all individuals.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in the construction sector with a solid understanding of cost consultancy roles.
  • Degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering.
  • RICS or equivalent accreditation is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Tenacity and ambition to add value and devise solutions.
  • Aptitude for building strong working relationships with project teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
Additional Information:

The salary range for this full-time position is $110K-$150K annually. This range reflects base salary only and may vary based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
