Position Overview:

As a Lead Agile Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Foundations and Philanthropy sector within our Social Impact Practice Area.

In this dynamic and innovative global team, you will collaborate with BCG consultants and practice leaders to deliver specialized knowledge, tailored insights, and expert advisory services to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of intellectual property and knowledge resources, ensuring that our internal platforms are updated with the latest, high-quality information for client-facing teams.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and marketing strategies by providing research and analytical support as opportunities arise.
  • Engage with consulting teams on direct client engagements, leveraging your expertise and interests.

BCG's Social Impact division is dedicated to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in critical areas, focusing on both emerging markets and mature markets facing significant inequities.

We partner with a variety of organizations, including non-profits, foundations, corporations, and government entities, addressing some of the world's most urgent challenges.

In our Socially Transformative Business sector, we assist private sector clients in navigating social impact challenges.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, often in virtual settings.
  • Expertise in applying knowledge to assist teams in developing and implementing products, tools, or data, considering various client contexts.
  • Experience in structuring and disseminating intellectual property, with a knack for clear and concise writing.
  • Confidence in presenting and engaging with client stakeholders, demonstrating credibility and assurance.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders, showcasing proactivity and credibility.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years of consulting experience in Social Impact is required.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages may be preferred in certain locations.
  • A demonstrated understanding of corporate or private foundations and the corporate philanthropy landscape is highly valued.
