Position Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable Senior MEP Estimator to fulfill client objectives through effective cost management services. The MEP Estimator will be tasked with delivering mechanical and/or electrical estimates and providing cost consulting for a diverse range of large-scale construction programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present comprehensive cost plans.
  • Estimate costs at various stages, including conceptual and detailed levels.
  • Assist in feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including pre-qualification, bid analysis, and contract documentation.
  • Manage post-contract cost variances and the change control process.
  • Conduct cost checks and valuations on significant projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare monthly post-contract cost reports for clients.
  • Contribute to value engineering efforts and negotiate final accounts.
  • Maintain communication with clients and consultants throughout all project phases.
  • Provide leadership to the cost management team as needed.
  • Identify and report opportunities for business development with existing clients.
  • Propose enhancements to cost management procedures and templates.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems within the construction industry.
  • Strong technical background in all aspects of cost management.
  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring team members.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with various construction procurement methods.
  • Experience advising clients on value management and lifecycle costing.
  • Broad knowledge and experience across multiple industry sectors.
Additional Information:

Salary Range: $140K-$165K per year, based on role and experience.
