We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for providing electrical estimates and cost consulting services to clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and detailed electrical estimates for commercial, data center, industrial, and high-tech building projects.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and develop cost management strategies.
- Assist in feasibility studies, procurement reports, and bid analysis.
- Manage procurement processes, including pre-qualification, bid list creation, and contractual document compilation.
- Participate in post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
- Conduct cost checks, valuations, and produce monthly post-contract cost reports.
- Provide input on value engineering, negotiate final accounts, and maintain liaison with clients and consultants.
- Lead cost management teams and ensure delivery of accountabilities.
- Identify opportunities for new business development and report to line managers.
- Good technical experience in cost management areas, including pre-contract, post-contract, and final account.
- Strong presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCad Navisworks, and/or other related software.
- Good organization skills, ability to multitask, and be a team player.
- Knowledge of construction procurement methods and experience with value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
- Experience with business development and knowledge of industry sectors.
- College degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
- Experience working on commercial, data center, high-tech, mission critical, or related construction projects of medium-high complexity.
- Experience preparing large-scale electrical cost estimates.
- Good understanding of electrical systems as they relate to construction projects.
Turner & Townsend offers a competitive salary range of $120K-$140K per year, a dynamic and inclusive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
