Job Overview

The Mobile Clubhouse Experience aims to provide essential services to youth who lack access to traditional Club facilities. Our mission is clear: Every child deserves to eat, learn, and thrive. The Mobile Program Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering mobile programming, ensuring high-quality youth services, managing mobile operations, and maintaining administrative compliance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Programming:

  • Deliver age-appropriate services and activities tailored to youth needs.
  • Foster a culture focused on college readiness and workforce development.
  • Create an environment conducive to academic achievement.
  • Promote health and fitness among participants.

Youth Program Quality:

  • Ensure adherence to curriculum fidelity.
  • Maintain high standards for programming and activities.
  • Implement Youth Program Quality (YPQ) techniques effectively.

Mobile Operations:

  • Execute mobile operations strategies efficiently.
  • Monitor performance and strive to meet established goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting.
  • Oversee the transportation of mobile vehicles, including vans, buses, RVs, and trucks.
  • Manage the setup of mobile programs, including equipment like generators and awnings.
  • Scout and determine optimal driving routes and parking locations.

Administrative Compliance:

  • Complete all necessary reports and administrative tasks punctually.
  • Collect and manage required data for internal and external reporting, ensuring accuracy.
  • Oversee the collection and review of membership applications.
  • Adhere to all administrative policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely completion of paperwork, reports, and data entry.
  • Utilize all communication tools effectively and regularly.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with youth.
  • Experience in mobile operations and/or programming is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Availability to work regular program hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to serve as a positive role model.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Capability to set clear expectations and boundaries.
  • Experience relating to at-risk youth.
  • Skills in facilitating, teaching, or instructing.
  • Ability to develop programs and activities based on community needs.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; familiarity with technology such as iPads and tablets.
  • Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required; must be at least 21 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Bilingual capabilities.
  • Previous experience in mobile operations and/or programming.
  • Knowledge of healthy lifestyle practices, including nutrition and exercise.
  • Experience with the Boys & Girls Club Movement is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly pay: $18.00.
  • Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement plan with a 5% match, Paid Time Off, and Holidays.
