  • Supervise, guide, and actively participate in all recreational sessions, ensuring safety and engagement for all children involved.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members, including educators and caregivers, to ensure that recreational initiatives support the overall developmental objectives of the children.
  • Oversee and maintain the inventory of recreational supplies, ensuring they are safe and in good working order.
  • Evaluate the recreational preferences and needs of the children, making necessary adjustments to activities.
  • Create an inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and enjoyment, ensuring every child feels valued and celebrated.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or certification in Physical Education, Sports Management, Recreation, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing and leading recreational programs or youth sports initiatives.
  • Capability to design and implement activities that are sensitive to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of children.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is advantageous.
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.

Benefits:

  • Play a direct role in uplifting the spirits of children, providing them with joy, community, and a sense of normalcy through play.
  • Work alongside a dedicated team that prioritizes the comprehensive well-being of each child.
  • Access opportunities for ongoing professional development in an environment that recognizes play as a fundamental right.
  • Experience the immediate and positive impact of your efforts, witnessing the joy and camaraderie among the children.
