We are seeking a seasoned Business Development expert to lead our efforts in the propulsion sector. As Head of Business Development - Propulsion Expert, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth.


This includes leading sales and client-relationship management, tracking new markets and emerging trends, recommending new products and services, proposing and developing new strategic partnerships. You will also inform product development by assessing clients' needs and providing crucial input to ensure our product suite is best-in-class.


Minimum of 8 years of Business Development experience focusing on propulsion or related products is required. Extensive experience selling to a multitude of industries, including Aerospace, EV, Marine, Oil/Gas, Industrials, and Manufacturing, is also essential. Proven track record of opening doors, creating long-term strategic partnerships, and forging relationships is a must.


About the Role:
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for generating and capturing business opportunities, growing revenue, and informing capture strategies, revenue forecasts, and technology development plans. You will also partner with the broader leadership team to grow business with current clients and leverage existing partnerships to explore new areas of work or opportunities.


Informing product development is a critical aspect of this role, as your assessment of clients' needs will inform new product decisions, and your ongoing engagement with clients will yield crucial input that helps ensure the product suite is best-in-class.

Requirements:

• Business Development within hard-tech or hardware products is a must
