Position Overview

The Regional Sales Leader will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of Sales Representatives to enhance sales performance and profitability.

• Provide leadership, training, and development to ensure team members meet performance standards.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services.

• Drive sales growth by engaging with both new and existing customers through effective marketing strategies.

• Collaborate with various levels of the organization, including customers, management, brokers, and manufacturer representatives.

• Monitor sales metrics, achieve production targets, and establish pricing and marketing strategies that align with profit objectives.

• Manage personnel matters and address disciplinary issues as necessary.

• Mentor and guide team members in their roles, adhering to relevant laws and company policies.

• Foster strong interpersonal relationships that promote transparency, trust, and open communication.

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record

• Minimum of 3 years in a management role overseeing commissioned sales teams

• At least 5 years of experience in selling consumer goods

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Willingness to travel overnight up to 15% annually

• Ability to thrive under the pressures of aggressive growth targets

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required

• Availability for calls 24/7

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

• Must reside in the North Austin area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales/Marketing, or a related field

• 4 to 6 years of experience in foodservice sales with team leadership or supervisory experience

• Familiarity with and support for a Servant Leadership Culture
