Customs Entry Writer at LOGISTEED America, Inc.

Job Overview:
The successful applicant for this position will possess extensive knowledge in international import logistics and customs brokerage operations. A thorough understanding of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (Customs) regulations and Participating Government Agency (PGA) requirements is essential, particularly regarding clearance protocols, classification, and valuation. This role requires exceptional organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic freight forwarding atmosphere, while also demonstrating strong teamwork.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing accounts from initiation to completion
  • Preparing necessary documentation for Customs clearance and associated government entities
  • Providing outstanding customer service
  • Carrying out tasks assigned by management to support team objectives

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding

  • Familiarity with CargoWise software is advantageous
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
  • Authorized to work in the United States
