Position Overview
The Grants Compliance Manager will oversee compliance for all government-funded contracts and will serve as the primary liaison between funders and the organization. This newly established role will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Development teams to manage grant funding effectively. The Grants Compliance Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams to report to external funders on program status, ensuring contracted deliverables are met, and will communicate any programmatic needs to the funder. In partnership with Finance team members, the Grants Compliance Manager will ensure timely completion of invoices, account reconciliations, and accurate tracking of expenses against grants. This position requires expertise in compliance, budgeting, fiscal grant management, and project management. Additionally, the Grants Compliance Manager will collaborate with the Development team on new grant proposals.

Duties and Responsibilities
Compliance:

  • Create compliance matrices and/or contract summaries for each award, detailing responsible parties for meeting obligations.
  • Communicate compliance requirements to CASA Leadership and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement necessary policy changes and efficient monitoring methods.
  • Ensure implementation of new processes as required.
  • Manage communication and coordination for all audits, developing corrective action plans as needed.
Reporting:
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and resources to communicate contract compliance and program outcomes.
  • Collaborate with IT to gather summarized service and outcome data.
  • Submit all contract program reports accurately and on time.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on progress towards meeting contract deliverables.
  • Maintain and monitor contract scope of work.
  • Ensure accuracy in fiscal reporting and budgeting for assigned contracts, working closely with the Finance team.
Project Management:
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of grants/contracts, from proposal submission to closeout.
  • Initiate and lead new projects as necessary to address workflow improvements.
Proposal Development and Budgeting:
  • Translate programmatic needs into grant/contract budgets.
  • Create, monitor, and adjust budgets for all assigned programs as needed.
Other Duties:
  • Support the organization's goals.
  • Perform other projects/duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years, preferably 3-5 years, of experience in grant or contract management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly skilled in MS Office and adaptable to new systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment serving diverse populations.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies, including active listening, constructive communication, and relationship building.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Role involves both office and fieldwork, requiring intermittent physical activities.
  • Work in a shared office environment with varying noise levels.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • This position offers a flexible hybrid work environment.
