Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily tasks related to the customs clearance and handling of international freight.
  • Classify shipments and prepare necessary customs entries.
  • Possess knowledge of FDA filings and other relevant government agency regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brokerage, Branch, and Compliance Manager to streamline processes.
  • Engage with US Customs officials and other regulatory bodies as required.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries for brokerage-related files.
  • Address inquiries from both internal teams and external clients.
  • Input shipment and billing information into operational systems.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing as necessary.
  • Exhibit resilience and adaptability to shifting priorities.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Customs Brokerage with a diverse range of commodities.
  • Familiarity with ADD/CVD, FDA, EPA, F&W, CBMA, FAA, TTB regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
