Organization Overview

CASA of Los Angeles engages community volunteers to support children who have faced abuse and neglect. Our goal is to ensure that every child in the child welfare system has an advocate and the opportunity to thrive. We are committed to expanding our services over the next five years to better serve children in LA County's child welfare system.

Position Overview

The Grants Compliance Supervisor will oversee the adherence to all government-funded contracts and serve as the primary liaison between funding entities and the organization. This role will collaborate closely with Finance, the COO, and Development teams to manage grant funding effectively. The Supervisor will work with cross-functional teams to provide updates to external program funders regarding program status, the achievement of contracted deliverables, and any additional programmatic requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Compliance

  • Create compliance matrices and/or contract summaries for each award.
  • Communicate compliance obligations to CASA Leadership.
  • Coordinate and manage submissions for all audits.

Reporting

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and resources to convey contract compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all contract program reports.

Project Management

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of grants and contracts.

Proposal Development and Budgeting

  • Translate programmatic needs into the formulation of grant and contract budgets.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in grant or contract management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Work will be conducted both in the office and in the field.
