About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our Project Delivery and Construction team at IPS-Integrated Project Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring procurement and contract administration efforts on assigned capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule, oversee, and direct activities associated with project-related capital procurement and contracts administration of equipment, trade subcontracts, materials, and professional services.
  • Manage procurement progress and workflow through our project procurement plan (PPP).
  • Negotiate and manage favorable agreements with subcontractors, suppliers, and professional services providers.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of department work, as well as compliance with established IPS standards and procedures.
  • Develop departmental policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), tools, templates, and work instructions governing the procurement function.
  • Mentor and coach more junior members of the procurement team, providing project-specific guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with other Procurement Managers to workload level and share resources across the broader organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading and executing procurement on capital design/construction projects in a highly regulated industry environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, nuclear, oil & gas, aviation, etc.).
  • 5+ years of management responsibility in procurement & contracts.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or MBA, APICS certification (CSCP or CPSM), CSCP certification, Procore proficiency, working knowledge of Construction Law as it pertains to capital project contracting.
