Position Overview:

In the role of Residential Support Specialist, you will deliver direct assistance to individuals residing in a group home setting. Your responsibilities will include aiding with daily living skills, providing transportation, facilitating skill development, managing finances, administering medications, and implementing risk management strategies according to personalized treatment plans. Services are rendered in alignment with Recovery principles to empower individuals in leading self-directed lives.

We offer both full-time and part-time roles across various locations. The compensation ranges from $16.50 to $18.50 per hour, contingent upon program assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with individuals to promote their health, wellness, and self-management capabilities.
  • Assist clients with mental health challenges and substance use issues in establishing and reaching personal recovery goals.
  • Provide transportation for residents and support them in daily activities.
  • Manage administrative tasks and assist with household responsibilities.
  • Encourage socialization and community participation through coaching.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience working with individuals facing severe mental health or substance use challenges.
  • Skills: A valid driver's license, MAP certification within five months of hire, and CPR/First Aid certification are necessary.
  • Additional Skills: Proficiency in American Sign Language is advantageous.
