Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance Oversight:
  • Manage the preparation and examination of intricate tax returns for various entities, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
  • Oversee tax filing timelines, extensions, and payments to mitigate penalties.
  • Stay informed on tax legislation changes and evaluate their implications for clients, offering informed recommendations.

Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and nurture strong client relationships, acting as the main contact for tax-related inquiries.
  • Gain insight into clients' financial circumstances and provide proactive tax planning strategies.
  • Address client questions and concerns promptly, ensuring high-quality service and fostering enduring partnerships.

Team Leadership:
  • Guide and mentor a team of tax professionals, offering support for their career development.
  • Distribute tasks effectively to maintain a balanced workload and promote teamwork.
  • Conduct performance assessments and recognize exceptional contributions.

Strategic Tax Planning:
  • Evaluate clients' financial information to uncover potential tax savings and credits.
  • Design and implement tailored tax strategies that align with clients' financial goals.
  • Collaborate with other financial professionals to ensure cohesive tax planning.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; CPA designation preferred.
  • Several years of experience in public accounting, focusing on tax compliance and advisory.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a history of motivating teams.
