Position Overview

As a Legal Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys by managing their daily activities and ensuring efficient communication flow. This position is tailored for proactive individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and possess the ability to devise innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exemplify proficiency in the Firm's Trusted Advisor and Proactive Assistance initiatives.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere by working effectively with various departments to resolve business challenges.
  • Embrace constructive feedback and demonstrate adaptability in performance.
Client Service and Relationship Management
  • Facilitate open communication with team members to ensure seamless support for assigned attorneys.
  • Deliver outstanding client service to both internal and external stakeholders, showcasing a proactive attitude.
  • Prioritize and manage conflicting needs with discretion and efficiency.
  • Develop a deep understanding of assigned attorneys' practices and maintain professional relationships with relevant parties.
  • Keep attorneys informed of their commitments and responsibilities through effective management of their schedules.
Billing and Financial Management
  • Oversee expense reconciliation and processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage timekeepers' diaries and assist in timely submission of billing entries.
Project Coordination
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread various documents and presentations with a high level of accuracy.
  • Organize meetings and travel arrangements, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Encourage attorneys to delegate non-billable tasks to enhance their focus on legal work.
Professional Development
  • Engage in team activities and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Maintain expertise in the Firm's core applications and adhere to best practices.
Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities.
