Job Overview:

Compensation Range: $76/hr - $81/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:
  • Spearhead and oversee a variety of IT initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring adherence to defined scope, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
  • Formulate and sustain comprehensive project roadmaps, encompassing schedules, resource distribution, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to guarantee the fulfillment of project objectives.
  • Monitor project milestones, facilitate meetings, document meeting outcomes, and conduct follow-ups.
Communication and Presentation:
  • Develop polished PowerPoint presentations to convey intricate business challenges, project updates, and resolutions to senior management and executive teams.
  • Articulate project advancements, potential risks, and challenges to stakeholders effectively.
  • Lead meetings and presentations, ensuring the clear and concise transmission of information.
Financial Oversight:
  • Create and manage project financial plans, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Monitor and report on project financial outcomes, including variance assessments and forecasting.
  • Ensure project spending aligns with overarching program objectives and financial benchmarks.
Vendor Coordination:
  • Establish and execute a robust Vendor Management strategy and framework, aligning with organizational objectives and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository of vendor information, encompassing contracts, performance metrics, and contact details.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with vendors and external collaborators.
  • Supervise vendor performance and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Lead a team conducting regular vendor evaluations to assess performance, create vendor scorecards, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure continuous alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with IT operations, sourcing, and legal teams to present IT as a unified entity to external vendors.
  • Provide leadership and support to the tactical Vendor Management team, ensuring high performance and ongoing enhancement.
  • Regularly review and update Vendor Management policies and procedures to reflect evolving business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies, risk reduction, and performance enhancement through effective Vendor Management practices.
Leadership and Team Collaboration:
  • Inspire, mentor, and energize project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project objectives align with business goals.
  • Act as a primary contact for project-related inquiries and resolution of issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in IT program/project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting impactful PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
  • Strong financial management capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, Agile, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
  • Capacity to operate effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in establishing Vendor Management Organizations.
  • Familiarity with vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
