Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team at Summit Healthcare Resources, Inc. As a key member of our outreach team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage potential clients and promote our services in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute outreach plans to identify and engage potential clients in the community.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and other referral sources to generate interest in our services.
  • Conduct presentations, workshops, and community events to promote our services and build awareness.
  • Coordinate client intake and enrollment processes to ensure a smooth transition into our services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Provide support to clients and families throughout the enrollment process.
  • Monitor and track program enrollment and outcomes to inform future outreach efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Network with potential referral agencies to generate interest in referring adults to our programs.
  • Represent the agency at community events, health fairs, and other public forums to promote our services and build relationships.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Basic knowledge of outreach tactics and strategies, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new approaches.
  • Computer experience with Office 365/One Drive and Microsoft Office products.
  • Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Indept knowledge of Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) services and programs in Maryland.
