Position Overview:

Frazier & Deeter is in search of a Senior Audit Supervisor who will be instrumental in developing and articulating the audit strategy, guiding the engagement team, and delivering top-notch client services while adopting a consultative approach. This role requires maintaining essential client relationships and acting as the primary liaison for clients on intricate inquiries and information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously across various sectors while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to align expectations, ensure satisfaction, and effectively lead change initiatives.
  • Consult with clients to provide recommendations for business and process enhancements, acting as a trusted business advisor.
  • Understand and mitigate firm risk associated with audits and proposals.
  • Oversee, mentor, and develop team members on projects, conducting performance assessments for engagements and year-end evaluations.
  • Participate actively in talent acquisition efforts for the firm.
  • Engage in professional development, networking opportunities, and training workshops regularly.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and maintain strict client confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field; an MBA or Master's in Accountancy is advantageous.
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in public accounting audit.
  • Recent experience managing audit engagements for public entities, mid to large-sized private firms, or private-equity backed organizations.
  • Prior experience leading audit teams of at least two individuals.
  • Active CPA certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
  • Familiarity with SEC and PCAOB regulations is beneficial.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong abilities in people development and delegation, including training and project scheduling.
  • Excellent skills in client development and relationship management.
  • Capability to resolve complex accounting challenges.
