As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing assistance to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Assistance with Daily Living Activities: Provide support with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents.
- Follow Resident Schedules: Adhere to the schedules of resident needs set out by supervisors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of care.
- Emotional and Social Support: Offer emotional and social support to residents, promoting a sense of community and connection.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate daily logs of assistance provided and communicate any resident issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Respect and Confidentiality: Respect and maintain the confidentiality of residents' personal information and promote their independence and dignity.
- Experience: At least one year of experience working in senior care, with a proven track record of providing compassionate and high-quality care.
- Communication Skills: Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisors and other employees, and respond to emergency situations.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful, with the ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and solve practical problems in high-stress situations.
- Teamwork: Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and colleagues, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
