Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounts payable process to ensure payment accuracy, vendor relations, and compliance with insurance requirements.
  • Conduct regular weekly and monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts.
  • Prepare necessary month-end journal entries.
  • Generate various financial reports and conduct reviews of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Assist with annual insurance renewals.
  • Coordinate annual insurance audits and renewal processes.
  • Monitor active loans and manage terms and draw requests.
  • Prepare annual 1099 forms.
  • Establish jobs and accounts within the accounting system.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 7+ years of relevant accounting experience in residential construction is preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
  • Experience with Buildertrend is an advantage.
