ROLE DESCRIPTION

This position involves leading technical projects focused on the development of innovative medical solutions to address obstructive sleep apnea and other critical clinical needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advance therapeutic and technological innovations to improve the effectiveness of upper airway stimulation in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.
  • Assess clinical needs to enhance treatment outcomes and efficiency for OSA, including patient selection, procedural methodologies, and post-treatment care.
  • Conduct pre-clinical and clinical feasibility assessments to create effective therapy and technology solutions.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences to promote therapy integration.
  • Protect intellectual property through the submission of patent applications.
  • Support clinical study operations at research facilities, including device implantation and therapy adjustments.
  • Collaborate on next-generation product development with teams in new product planning, research and development, and regulatory affairs.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members and clients through comprehensive training programs.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with at least 7 years of experience; OR a Ph.D. with 5+ years of related experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device industry or in sleep apnea research.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in neuromodulation therapy research.
  • A Master's degree with at least 9 years of experience; OR a Ph.D. with 7+ years of relevant experience.
