Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Research (70%):
Collaborate with fellow researchers and the principal investigator to conduct experiments utilizing cultured cells and rodent models. Responsibilities include:- Daily upkeep of cell lines and execution of cell-based assays for GPCR signal transduction.
- Conducting rodent surgeries, providing post-operative care, and monitoring.
- Performing biochemical and imaging assays with tissue samples and cultured cells.
- Maintaining comprehensive experimental records, managing data, and engaging in data analysis and visualization.
- Publication and Presentation (10%):
Regularly share research findings during group meetings and at scientific conferences. Responsibilities include:- Publishing results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Preparing and delivering presentations at both local and national scientific meetings.
- Training and Mentorship (10%):
Support the development of junior lab personnel, including undergraduate and graduate students and technicians. Responsibilities include:- Fostering a collaborative and inclusive lab environment.
- Contributing to the training and mentoring of new lab members.
- Laboratory Support (10%):
Assist in the maintenance of laboratory supplies and equipment. Responsibilities include:- Ensuring compliance with institutional regulations.

- Updating laboratory standard operating procedures.
- PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, cellular biology, neuroscience, or a related discipline.
