POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Product Strategist will be instrumental in implementing our product strategy through ongoing product exploration that aligns with our overarching product vision. This role demands a keen focus on addressing complex challenges—both customer-centric and business-oriented—in ways that resonate with our clientele while being viable for our organization. Our product teams are collaborative and resilient, typically consisting of a product strategist, a product designer, and several engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Lead Product Strategist is expected to bring a robust understanding of various business constraints—including marketing, sales, service, finance, legal, and privacy—to their product team. Additionally, the strategist must possess in-depth knowledge of our users and customers, along with insights into how they interact with our offerings. Keeping abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape relevant to their product is also essential.

While each member of the product team may be responsible for specific risks, we seek strategists who recognize that continuous innovation stems from the collective contributions of the team. The strategist must work closely with their product designer and engineers to identify effective solutions and collaborate to bring those solutions to market.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques.
  • 5+ years of experience working on technology-driven products in roles such as product strategist, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.
  • Demonstrated capability to learn across multiple business functions—engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • Ability to devise solutions to complex problems with numerous constraints, employing sound judgment to evaluate risks and articulate arguments in a structured, data-informed manner.
  • Established track record of engaging constructively with engineers, designers, and organizational leaders.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
