  • Communicate insurance information with patients, addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and attorneys' offices regarding medical records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including opening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail, filing charts and paperwork, and managing office inventory of medications and supplements.
  • Assist with special projects as directed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Prepare and send daily reports to designated supervisors, ensuring timely and accurate communication.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum one year experience in a medical office or facility.
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of healthcare insurance practices and compliance essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer relations, and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to quickly incorporate new learning into practice, demonstrating adaptability and a growth mindset.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
  • Requires keyboard work and frequent computer data entry.
  • Requires attendance on a regular basis and reliable transportation.
