Front Desk Navigator

At the Alamo Area Resource Center Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Desk Navigator to join our team. As the primary point of contact, you will provide exceptional customer service and coordinate communication between the community and our resource center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors.
- Confirm patient information, collect copayments, and provide necessary paperwork.
- Manage front desk operations, including visitor access and phone systems.
- Manage appointments, calendars, and cancellations to optimize scheduling.
- Facilitate client flow by delegating requests appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR and case management software.
- Process communications while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Support staff with forms, reports, invoices, and client billing as needed.
- Maintain lobby and front desk area and ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain all working stations ensuring supply is available and ready for staff use.
- Provide clerical support as needed (faxing, scanning, copying, filing).
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming office environment.
- Receive donations/payments for services and document invoices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and system navigation.
- Knowledge of community resources and services.
- Ability to create a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols and a diverse workplace.
- Bilingual with Spanish is preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Physical demands refer to the level and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of job functions, for example - sitting, keyboarding, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, climbing step stools, and standing for periods of time. Must be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 15 pounds using proper safe lifting techniques.
