Manufacturing Operations Leader

Compensation:
$80/hr to $85/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefits:
Benefit packages for this role will commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, along with access to a 401k retirement account with employer matching. Employees in this position are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.
Key Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing the activities of the production operations through a team of supervisors and group leaders. This role ensures the delivery of quality products to customers in a complete and timely manner. This leader verifies all reports according to the company's operational standards.
Continuously enhances the efficiency of labor, materials, and machinery through the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Implements all company safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure full compliance.
Utilizes Lean Manufacturing techniques in areas such as safety, quality, cost reduction, timely deliveries, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls, and plant performance metrics.
Provides leadership in employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, development, and problem resolution in alignment with company standards.
Monitors operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements.
Drives enhancements in plant operations, manufacturing processes, and standardized work procedures, leading to productivity and efficiency improvements through the application of Lean Tools.
Oversees production supervisory staff across all shifts.
Develops production schedules to meet internal objectives and customer expectations.
Establishes and directs plant policies and procedures.
Monitors overall plant performance against production and quality benchmarks.
Responsible for operational labor metrics, improvements in the Team Improvement Process, and OEE metrics.
Facilitates Lean Six Sigma process improvement initiatives throughout the plant and serves as the plant ambassador for quality and process excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or Engineering.
5+ years of experience in a plant management role.
10 years of operations management experience in a production environment.
Experience with an ERP System.
Proficiency in Lean, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies.
