POSITION SUMMARY
As a Saw Operator #2, you will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration within the department. You will work closely with the Assistant Coordinator to achieve daily production targets while ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate and set up the assigned saw, ensuring general cleanliness.
  • Understand the required quality standards and inspect finished products for compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and legible production reports.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance among team members.
  • Interpret job orders and execute tasks accordingly.
  • Operate relevant machinery and provide training to fellow workers.
  • Communicate work progress to Production Management.
  • Collaborate with general labor staff.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • In-depth knowledge of machinery and equipment relevant to the role.
  • Maintain necessary certifications for equipment operation.
  • Team-oriented, balancing individual and group responsibilities.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Meet productivity benchmarks and strive for efficiency.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Dependable, following instructions and responding to management guidance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
  • Work primarily in an outdoor setting, exposed to varying weather conditions, noise, and dust.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and basic mathematics.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

COMPENSATION
Hourly wage starting at $20.20
  • Comprehensive benefits package available after 90 days of full-time employment.

WORK SCHEDULE
  • Full-time position
  • 10-hour shifts
  • 4x10 schedule with overtime opportunities

EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
