POSITION SUMMARY
As a Bilingual Saw Operator #2, you will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration within the department. You will work closely with the Assistant Coordinator to achieve daily production targets while ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate and set up the assigned saw, ensuring thorough cleaning and maintenance.
  • Understand and adhere to quality standards, inspecting finished products for compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and clear production reports.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance among team members.
  • Interpret and execute job orders efficiently.
  • Operate related machinery and provide training to fellow workers.
  • Communicate work progress to Production Management.
  • Collaborate with general labor staff.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machinery and equipment relevant to the role.
  • Maintain necessary certifications for equipment operation.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on collective and individual responsibilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Meet productivity benchmarks and complete tasks promptly.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Dependable in following instructions and responding to management requests.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
  • Work primarily in an outdoor setting, exposed to various weather conditions, noise, and dust.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

COMPENSATION
Starting pay is $20.20 per hour, with comprehensive benefits available after 90 days of full-time employment.

WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time position with expected hours of 40 per week, including:
  • 10-hour shifts
  • 4x10 schedule
  • Overtime opportunities

EXPERIENCE
Preferred candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing.

WORK LOCATION
This position requires in-person attendance.
