About the Role

Xometry, a leading digital marketplace for manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Account Executive team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing sales performance, and developing high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Manage a High-Performing Team: Recruit, hire, and develop a team of sales professionals focused on converting inbound leads into customers and managing an existing book of business.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the management of the sales pipeline to track and evaluate activities at each stage, ensuring seamless coordination to optimize sales processes and outcomes.
  • Coordinate Sales & Operations: Work closely with sales and operations teams to assist reps in winning deals, ensuring accurate and complete information is captured in CRM-Salesforce.
  • Monitor and Motivate: Monitor employee productivity and motivate the team to reach daily and monthly goals, implementing best practices in sales pipeline management to maintain high team morale and performance.
  • CRM Management: Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in CRM-Salesforce, utilizing CRM tools to manage and analyze sales activities and pipeline health.
  • Supervise and Develop Team: Supervise the team in accordance with company policies and procedures, conducting employee interviews, orientations, and hiring of staff, providing ongoing training, coaching, and development to enhance the team's skills and product knowledge.
  • Reporting: Report to senior management on sales metrics and opportunities, using data-driven insights to forecast revenue and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of our ideal customers and how they relate to our products, using this knowledge to tailor sales strategies and improve customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Required
  • 5+ Years of Sales Experience: Required, with 3+ years of experience managing a sales team
  • Experience in Planning and Implementing Sales Strategies: Required
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Required
  • Dedication to Providing Great Customer Service: Required
  • Ability to Train, Develop, Grow, and Lead a Sales Team to Success: Required
