Role Responsibilities:
The Field Manager plays a crucial role in orchestrating a successful estate sale. In this position, you will oversee the entire sale process, ensuring everything operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the on-site team and providing clear guidance.
- Ensuring a seamless estate sale process.
- Possessing comprehensive knowledge of the estate sale process to address inquiries before, during, and after the sale.
- Managing financial transactions and deposits.
- Fostering a workplace culture that aligns with the core values and brand standards of Blue Moon Estate Sales.
- Communicating expectations and priorities to your team.
- Offering continuous feedback and direction to team members.
- Safeguarding items throughout clients' residences, including attics, basements, and storage areas.
- Creating appealing displays to enhance the retail atmosphere within each home.
- Acting as the primary contact with the Sales Manager on the day of the sale.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Previous experience in vintage, estate sales, or retail environments.
- A strong customer service orientation.
- Reliability and trustworthiness.
- A willingness to learn basic pricing strategies.
- The ability to work flexible hours across various locations.
- The capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
