Our client, TSR Consulting Services, Inc., a prominent player in the financial services sector, is seeking a Credit and Pricing Risk Analyst for a long-term contractual engagement.

Position Overview:

The Credit and Pricing Risk Control division provides essential support to Markets & Securities Services on a global scale. Our mission is to cultivate and uphold a strong first line of defense control framework and culture aimed at minimizing operational risks within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and address Volcker-related discrepancies and issues by collaborating with trading desks, legal teams, finance, and risk management.
  • Assist in the production, review, and dissemination of metrics for internal use and regulatory compliance.
  • Deliver regular updates and status reports to management.
  • Engage in monthly evaluations of Volcker metrics and reporting with relevant desks.
  • Coordinate the regulatory narrative, ensuring that commentary is drafted, revised, and reviewed by senior management.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of pertinent experience in a front office or operational support role, or in a consulting or project management capacity with similar responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial market products across various asset classes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive mindset with the capability to manage tight deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of the Volcker Rule.
  • Commitment to meeting monthly and quarterly deadlines for specific tasks.
