We're seeking a skilled Member Service Associate to join our team at New England Federal Credit Union. This role involves providing exceptional service to our members while gaining insight into their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Member Service: Provide efficient, accurate, and polite service to members, uncovering their financial goals and needs through discovery conversations.
  • Transaction Processing: Assist members with teller-based transactions, including opening and closing accounts, issuing debit cards, and performing foreign and domestic wire transfers.
  • Account Maintenance: Provide rate quotes, account maintenance, and refer members to specialists when needed.
  • Branch Concierge: Check-in members, provide navigational assistance for online banking and mobile app, and assist with seminar registration and updating account security.
  • Business Services: Open, maintain, and close business accounts, IRAs, and fiduciary accounts.
  • Lending Services: Process VISA, personal, auto, and home equity lending applications.
  • Cash Handling: Provide coverage for the teller area when needed.

Qualifications:

  • One to three years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office required.
