As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The Senior Sales Engineer serves as the technical foundation of our sales organization, collaborating closely with account executives to promote, design, propose, and showcase the business advantages of our solutions to clients. This role is results-oriented, requiring you to take ownership of territory development alongside the account executive. Success in this position hinges on your technical proficiency, leadership capabilities, and business insight. You thrive in an autonomous environment while also being a collaborative team player. The integrity and expertise you contribute to the sales process are vital to this role.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to educate them on the business value of BindPlane OP.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations tailored to the specific business needs of customers.
  • Conduct technical proofs of concept (POCs) and relay insights to product and technical support teams.
  • Navigate challenges during the sales process, helping clients understand how observIQ meets their requirements and addresses their concerns.
  • Support sales qualification and take ownership of the technical architecture and design.
  • Occasional travel for conferences and client meetings may be required.

Required Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a presales engineering or consulting capacity focused on monitoring and observability solutions.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting, delivering, or designing enterprise IT systems.
  • Extensive technical knowledge in observability, monitoring, Linux, Windows, Kubernetes, and Cloud Services.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation and time management abilities.
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to owning both problems and solutions.
  • Proficient in using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Prior experience in selling XaaS solutions, including software, infrastructure, cloud, and observability services.
