Job Description

Position Purpose:

As a Technical Sales Representative at Steeltech, you will be instrumental in driving our company's expansion and enhancing customer satisfaction by building and sustaining relationships with both new and existing clients. You will collaborate closely with our external sales team to support our extensive array of heat and corrosion-resistant products tailored for diverse sectors, including Heat Treat, Aerospace, Automotive, Steel Mills, and Cement and Lime.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective and current clients, representing Steeltech's brand with integrity, professionalism, and positivity.

2. Lead Generation and Follow-up: Conduct outbound calls to potential clients, follow up on leads, respond to inquiries, and provide additional information as needed.

3. Prospecting: Identify potential clients requiring our services through cold calling, emailing, and diligent follow-up on leads.

4. Product Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of Steeltech's offerings to effectively communicate with clients, assess their needs, and suggest suitable solutions.

5. Sales Process Management: Assist clients throughout the sales journey, from initial contact to account establishment, including providing pricing and lead time information.

6. Quoting and Account Development: Support the generation of quotes and strengthen relationships with existing clients.

7. Market Insights: Collect and report on customer feedback, industry trends, and competitor activities to aid strategic planning.

8. Reporting: Keep accurate records of all sales activities and prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.

9. Collaboration: Work in tandem with internal teams, including engineering, production, and external sales, to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.

10. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

· Ability to establish relationships with key personnel and decision-makers to achieve sales objectives.

· Proficient in interpreting technical drawings to discuss with clients and convey requirements to the production team.

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Strong motivation to meet personal and organizational goals.

· Ability to work independently.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service (Required).
