Key Responsibilities- Perform opening and closing clinic duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- Greets patients, checks them in for appointments, and verifies insurance information
- Scans documents into the electronic health record, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information
- Maintains the tidiness of the waiting area and reception counter throughout the day
- Checks schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedules follow-up appointments as needed
- Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record, including ordering clinic office supplies and selling cosmetic products
- Distributes mail and prepares for next day scheduled appointments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of recent medical office experience preferred
- Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
