Job Overview

The primary objective of this position is to drive sales expansion across the Northwestern United States. The Sales Manager will oversee both commercial and technical initiatives for our network of distributors, sub-distributors, OEMs, and end users, while also fostering additional sales and revenue opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Support for Distributors and Clients:
    • Meet and exceed sales targets by collaborating with local distributor teams.
    • Facilitate training sessions for distributor sales teams and participate in key account visits.
    • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established in partnership with distributors.
    • Identify growth opportunities within existing and new market segments and applications.
    • Conduct ongoing market analysis to stay ahead of competition.
    • Engage in joint visits with distributors to architectural and industrial sites.
    • Prepare annual sales forecasts in collaboration with distributors.
    • Establish new sub-distributor networks to enhance existing distributor capabilities.
    • Collaborate closely with distributors on significant projects.
    • Initiate innovative marketing strategies for distributors and the Accoya group.
    • Negotiate specific volume contracts with industrial clients.
    • Maintain direct communication with Customer Service, Marketing, and Quality Control teams in Europe.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales and leadership within the wood or construction product sectors.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Proficient in Office 365 applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Skills:
  • Experienced user of CRM systems.
  • Strong commitment to follow-through and effective communication.
  • Dedicated and proactive work ethic.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on performance.
  • Collaborative and innovative approach to problem-solving and identifying growth opportunities.

The role requires the ability to work independently while engaging with market stakeholders, such as distributors and system partners, to develop consistent business relationships.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves physical activities such as climbing ladders, navigating stairs, and working in various environments, including confined spaces. The role may require lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds and operating machinery or vehicles. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is necessary.
