Job Overview

The primary objective of this position is to drive sales expansion across the Northwestern region of the United States. The Sales Manager will facilitate both commercial and technical operations for our distributors, sub-distributors, OEMs, and end users, focusing on enhancing existing relationships while also fostering new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support for Distributors and Clients:

  • Achieve sales growth and targets by collaborating with local distributor teams.
  • Conduct training sessions for distributor sales teams and participate in joint visits to key accounts.
  • Monitor and complete KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) established collaboratively.
  • Identify potential growth markets within existing and new segments/applications to stimulate further sales and revenue increase.
  • Continuously analyze market competition and trends.
  • Execute joint visits to architectural and industrial sites with distributors.
  • Prepare annual sales forecasts in collaboration with distributors.
  • Establish new sub-distributor networks for current distributors.
  • Work closely with distributors on significant projects.
  • Initiate innovative marketing strategies for distributors and sub-distributors.
  • Negotiate specific volume contracts with industrial clients.
  • Maintain direct communication with Customer Service, Marketing, and Quality Control teams in the EU.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Proven track record in sales and leadership within the wood or construction industry.
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Proficient in Office 365, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Skills:

  • Experienced user of CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated reliability in follow-through and communication.
  • Strong work ethic with a hands-on approach.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on performance.
  • Collaborative and innovative problem-solver, adept at identifying new growth opportunities.
Physical Requirements

The role involves various physical activities, including:

  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.
  • Moving in different positions to complete tasks in diverse environments.
  • Adjusting or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Lifting or carrying items up to 25 pounds.
  • Operating machinery and power tools, as well as motor vehicles.
