Job Summary

The Harvard Federal Credit Union (Harvard FCU) is a leading financial institution dedicated to providing exceptional service to its members. As a Member Support Agent, you will play a critical role in delivering timely and accurate information to members in a courteous and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Support: Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and other channels, providing accurate and timely information to resolve issues and meet member needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Harvard FCU's products and services to effectively cross-sell and upsell to members.
  • Communication: Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with members, establish personal connections, and proactively address their needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve member issues in a fair and timely manner, escalating complex problems to management as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance member experience.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of customer service or related experience in a financial institution or similar environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Language: Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
