Job Opportunity: Patient Service Representative

About the Role:

ZOLL LifeVest is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team as an independent contractor. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for training patients on the use and care of the LifeVest, a wearable cardioverter defibrillator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact caregivers and family members to schedule services
  • Travel to patient's homes and healthcare facilities to provide services
  • Train patients and caregivers on the use of LifeVest
  • Program LifeVest according to prescribing physician's orders
  • Measure patients and determine correct garment size
  • Review and obtain signed paperwork from patients
  • Transmit signed documents to ZOLL within 24 hours
  • Manage device and garment inventory
  • Disclose family relationships with potential referral sources

Requirements:

  • 1 year of patient care experience in a paid professional environment
  • Patient experience must be documented on resume
  • Completion of background check
  • Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable)
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance or valid state ID
  • Willingness to pay a $30 annual DME fee
  • Willingness to pay for additional vendor credentialing (if needed)
