About the Role:
ZOLL LifeVest is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team as an independent contractor. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for training patients on the use and care of the LifeVest, a wearable cardioverter defibrillator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact caregivers and family members to schedule services
- Travel to patient's homes and healthcare facilities to provide services
- Train patients and other caregivers on the use of LifeVest
- Program LifeVest according to the prescribing physician's orders
- Measure patients and determine correct garment size
- Review and have patients sign necessary paperwork
- Transmit signed copies to ZOLL within 24 hours
- Manage device and garment inventory
- Disclose family relationships with potential referral sources
Requirements:
- 1 year of patient care experience in a paid professional environment
- Patient experience must be documented on resume
- Completion of background check
- Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable)
- Valid driver's license and car insurance or valid state ID
- Willingness to pay a $30 annual DME fee
- Willingness to pay for additional vendor credentialing (if needed)
