Position Overview:

EASTERN RESEARCH GROUP, INC. is a leading research and consulting organization dedicated to delivering comprehensive support to governmental and commercial entities. We pride ourselves on assembling multidisciplinary teams equipped with nationally recognized expertise in various fields including engineering, environmental science, economics, public health, information technology, and communication.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level professional to contribute to our environmental compliance inspection initiatives, specifically focusing on the Clean Water Act (CWA). This role will provide the opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals, gaining invaluable experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conducting field investigations and participating in onsite meetings related to client projects.
  • Perform thorough site inspections, evaluating industrial processes and the discharge of wastewater into public sewer systems.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and other technical documentation.
  • Review data meticulously and communicate findings effectively, both orally and in writing.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in technical writing and conducting desktop research.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel locally and nationally as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to pass a public trust-level background investigation.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 20 pounds.
