About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team at gategroup. As a key member of our Operations, Safety and Compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
  • Conduct Training and Audits: Conduct regular training sessions and audits to ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with management, employees, and external partners to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Regulations: Stay current with changing regulatory requirements and ensure that our operations are in compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as safety, risk management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety and compliance, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
