Position Overview: As a Junior Autism Support Specialist, you will function as a Behavior Technician, delivering personalized one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to young learners diagnosed with autism.

Your Daily Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individualized ABA therapy to children in a center-based setting
  • Collect and monitor data to track client progress using Central Reach on a tablet
  • Execute treatment plans developed by the BCBA tailored to each child
  • Communicate client progress to the BCBA and assist in updating objectives as needed
  • Support the BCBA in training families on the implementation of treatment plans
  • Engage with other clinicians and participate in scheduled team meetings
  • Uphold strict client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Maintain open lines of communication with families and the clinical team to ensure effective treatment and goal achievement
Qualifications & Certifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, early childhood education, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience working with children is necessary (e.g., nanny, teacher, camp counselor); experience with children with special needs or developmental delays is preferred
  • RBT Certification (or willingness to complete training and exam within the first 90 days)
  • BLS Certification (or willingness to complete training and exam upon hire)
  • Availability to work on-site from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday is required
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential
  • Must undergo a federal and state background check
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, run, squat, or stand for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 30 pounds
