We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team at ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting environmental site assessments, investigating groundwater and soil contamination, and providing technical support for remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Environmental Site Assessments: Conduct Phase I environmental site assessments to identify potential environmental hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Groundwater and Soil Investigations: Conduct field and office work related to groundwater and soil investigations, including media sampling and hydrogeologic studies.
- Remediation System Installation and Operation: Install, operate, and maintain remediation systems to address environmental contamination.
- Industrial Hygiene Services: Provide industrial hygiene services, including asbestos, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality assessments, as well as underground storage tank assessments.
- Project Management: Manage project budgets, client invoicing, and project-specific issues.
- Reporting and Proposal Development: Prepare reports and proposals for clients, including project updates and recommendations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including sample collection, environmental reporting, environmental compliance, technical writing, or other aspects of environmental consulting.
