Job Summary

Aerospace is seeking an EHS Specialist to manage and implement Occupational Safety and Environmental programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with experience in emergency planning, fire protection, life safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and enhance EHS awareness in the workplace through established Corporate EHS programs
  • Collaborate with customers to establish EHS requirements and priorities
  • Ensure compliance with internal EHS regulations and local, state, and federal regulations
  • Investigate injuries/incidents to determine root cause and develop corrective actions
  • Assist in training personnel regarding environmental, health, and safety programs
  • Respond to on-site emergencies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in EHS
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in EHS
  • Program and project management experience
  • First Aid, CPR, AED certification
  • Experience with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and ANSI Standards
