Harvard Partners Trusted IT Advisors is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide essential technical assistance to our internal colleagues, ensuring smooth operations and a positive user experience.

As an integral part of our IT department, you will be responsible for resolving a wide range of technical issues, from assisting new employees with system access to troubleshooting complex hardware and software problems. Your strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate technical information will be crucial in delivering exceptional support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and efficient technical support to internal users via phone, email, or other communication channels.
  • Assist new employees with onboarding processes, including system setup and access provisioning.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems to senior staff as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience providing technical support in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common network protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
