Job Summary

R4 Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our staff, ensuring that all computer equipment and software are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional technical support to staff, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including network connectivity and software compatibility problems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for technical procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to identify and implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software and hardware developments, and provide recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in desktop support, with a strong background in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in computer science or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with mobile device management and cloud-based services.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and security measures.
  • Certifications in CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
